Pieter has acquired deep knowledge of the financial sector in Belgium and abroad over the past 20 years, with focus on the insurance sector since more than 10 years. As a consultant at Accenture, he conducted large business transformations in both non-life insurance and life insurance, for retail and corporate clients. He specialized in underwriting, claims handling and omni-channel distribution. Recently, his focus has been on leveraging new technologies and sourcing models to innovate and digitalize business models.
Pieter contributed to the Belgian insurance market place through publication of articles and collaboration with sector organizations, for example acting as speaker on the BZB congress (2014).
