Ensur looking for a Risk Management Senior Consultant / Manager to join our team and help shape the future of risk strategy in Belgium’s leading insurance companies. In this role, you will provide expert analysis and modelisation, develop risk frameworks, and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure effective risk management practices.

As a Quantitative Risk Management Senior Consultant / Manager you will:

• Together with the client, identify, assess and mitigate their risks.
• Develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and frameworks tailored to the insurance sector.
• Conduct advanced risk modeling, simulations, scenario analysis, and stochastic modeling to evaluate potential risk exposures.
• Utilize statistical techniques, data analytics, and probability models to support risk assessments and decision-making.
• Perform quantitative and qualitative risk analysis to assess the impact of different risk factors on the business.
• Develop projections and forecasts to anticipate emerging risks and market trends.
• Advise senior management and business units on risk exposure and mitigation techniques.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal governance frameworks.
• Conduct risk assessments and scenario analyses to enhance business resilience.
• Monitor and evaluate risk controls, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.

Required profile:

• You have 3+ years of experience in quantitative risk management, consulting, or the insurance sector.
• Master’s degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics or Mathematics is a plus.
• Strong expertise in risk quantification, stochastic modeling, Monte Carlo simulations, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
• Proficiency in statistical software and risk management tools (e.g., R, Python, SAS, VBA, MATLAB, or similar).
• Experience with capital adequacy assessments, solvency calculations, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., Solvency II).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex risk data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, pragmatic, and solution-oriented mindset.
• A team player who can work autonomously.
• Good knowledge of English and Dutch/French.
• You like variety in your job and you are flexible.
