- EIOPA released its 2026 April risk dashboard for institutions for occupational retirement provision (IORPs), noting that elevated geopolitical tensions and uncertainty continue to shape the risk landscape for the European IORPs, with market risks being a key concern.

- EIOPA and the European Stability Mechanism (ESM) published a discussion paper on natural catastrophe risk management to quantify the benefits of a European risk-sharing mechanism—composed of a natural catastrophe insurance pool and a loan-based backstop.
- NGFS released a new package of materials to support the assessment of nature-related financial risks. The package provides practical tools for central banks and supervisors to integrate nature-related risks into their work to help strengthen the resilience of the financial system.
